Shadow Box Final Result

This is my Biome. I chose the desert for my biome because I have a book about the desert which I find very interesting. I always find it cool that it can be very hot in the day but freezing at night. My animals are a snake, lizard, and wolf. For the snake, I wanted to make it look like it was jumping out so I glued it to the background, middle ground, and foreground. All the snake's details are made of paper. The wolf is in the background. I tried to show that it was sitting down by curling his legs up. The lizard is in the foreground. I made it out of the same color that I used for dirt to show it is camouflage, as many animals in the desert are. Also, the lizard blends in with the bush behind it.  I also made a cactus to show that it is an American desert and not an African desert. I punched pencil holes behind the cactus to show that it was prickly. For the sun, I curled the rays to appear that it was penetrating the sky.

Breakfast 7/19

I created this collage to show breakfast. The bacon, sausage, eggs, and grits are all paper. The plate is real as well as the orange juice which Im about to drink now.

Ambigous Space

This is my ambigous space drawing. I had warm colors up front to show that worm colors pop outand cold colors such as green recede. I also posted my thumbnail sketches. I really liked the fourth sketch so I drew it. Also, I left one part white to show depth and emptiness.

Shape pictures. 7/6

Geometric- I tried to show geometric shapes with the window panes in our front door.
Organic- I showed organic shapes with the free form shape of a fake pear.
Negative Space- I tried to show negative space with the area inside the chandelier.
One point Perspective- I showed OPP by taking a picture of my living room.
Aerial- I tried to show aerial perspective by taking an aerial view of a vaccum cleaner.

My Photocollage 7/6

For this photocollage, I took pictures of my front porch. I used many differnt point of views and was very suprised that it turned out this well.

One Point Perspective.

I used Paint on the computer for this drawing. I thought it would give a much more finished look.

Bottled 7/6

For my drawing "Bottled", I wanted to draw a coke bottle. I added in water-colors for a background to showits summer. Also I remember the coke commercials in which the little people tried to open the coke and thats why I drew a little guy climbing up the side of it.
